This one hour course provides students with an overview of the versions of the Total Access series that will terminate a dedicated T1 circuit and provide voice and data integration. Students will learn the key features and the components of the Total Access T1 TDM IADs including the Power Supply, Bank Control and Router Control Common Modules, multiple voice and data access modules. This overview class will enable the student to recognize common applications and select the correct product based on customer needs for price, modularity, and required equipment interfaces. These products are targeted toward the millions of small to medium sized businesses that are looking for more cost effective, higher capacity voice and data solutions. This course will highlight common applications such as voice only, voice and data using an external router, and voice and data using the integral router for high-speed Internet services. For an in-depth and hands-on course, students are encouraged to enroll in the I&M (Installation & Maintenance) classes.
