This is a simple, cost effective way to improve the guaranteed life of your investment. Purchase of an Advanced Exchange Extended Warranty also allows you to call our technical support centre free of charge. With Advanced Exchange, depending on the model, your replacement printer is on its way by the next business day. The call process is described below:
You experience printer problems or failure.
Call Lexmark's Technical Support Centre at 1-800-539-6275 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Saturdays from 12:00pm - 6:00pm EST.
A trained technician will try to solve your problem by phone.
The warranty centre will explain your warranty options. If Advanced Exchange is chosen, you will be asked for the following information: name, address and telephone number.
Ship the defective printer using the same packaging to Lexmark's repair centre. Shipping instructions and a waybill will be included.
Note: Lexmark pays for all shipping costs.
