DVI-D dual link cable.
Digital Video Interface (DVI) is the standard connector for computers and LCD monitors. DVI has two sections to the specification, analog which is the same signals as a VGA connection and digital for higher resolution and clearer pictures. This dual link cable connects a digital video card with a digital DVI LCD monitor. Instead of a single signal transmitting the video from the source to the device, this cable allows for a source to transmit two signals so twice as much information can be transmitted or the information can be transmitted in half the time making the response of the monitor faster.
