The notebook or laptop computer is a great all around computer because it matches the processing power of many full sized desktops with the portability that is associated with the netbook class. These computers offer plenty of storage for all of your media as well as the processing power that you need to play games, work in any program while the computer stays quick and responsive. With great brand names like Acer, Fujitsu, Lenovo, HP and Asus, you will find a top quality machine for whatever your needs are here. You still need to select your specific notebook based on what kind of uses you have for it. You should look at the processing power and storage capabilities of the notebook but you should also look at the battery life of them as well. Since these are meant to be used both on the road and near a power source the battery life needed can vary widely by notebook and by the user's requirements. A battery life of 2-5 hours isn't uncommon among these notebooks but you if you use the notebook for higher powered processing then you can see the battery life fall to under an hour in many cases.

The netbook computer is a smaller version of a notebook or laptop computer that is made for use on the move.
