The GoFlex Pro for Mac ultra-portable drive is a complete Mac computer solution. It has a faster 7200RPM drive, which takes full advantage of the included FireWire 800 adapter and cable, the fastest interface built in to Mac computers. The drive is formatted for Mac computers out of the box, making it fully compatible with Time Machine software. Use the included plug-and-play USB 2.0 or FireWire 800 interface, or upgrade to powered eSATA or USB 3.0 by pairing the drive with the appropriate GoFlex upgrade cable to get even faster transfer speeds. Pair the drive with other GoFlex storage system products and access your content on your TV, over your network or on-the-go. Install the downloadable HFS+ driver on a PC, and the drive can be used interchangeably on both Mac and PC computers without formatting. This is the perfect solution for primarily Mac computer users who still regularly utilize a PC without any program limitation or file size restrictions. The drive's durable soft-touch metallic finish not only helps resist fingerprints, it also blends in perfectly with Apple products.
